About Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation
The Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation was established in 1984 by the administration of Sheriff Johnny Mack Brown and it has been in continuous operation since that time. The original intent of the foundation was to provide educational scholarships to the children of Greenville Sheriff’s Office employees. While the foundation continues to take pride in providing educational scholarships the foundation’s mission has evolved and includes raising funds and receiving contributions that facilitate providing life-saving training and equipment to the men and women of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office as they work tirelessly to protect and serve the citizens and visitors of our great county.
